About Us

Escorts Construction Equipment (ECE) is one of India's leading material handling and construction equipment companies. In a country dominated by manual labour, ECE has played an instrumental role in the evolution of the earthmoving and construction equipment space, by creating products that mechanize material handling.

ECE pioneered the concept of Pick and Carry cranes in 1971 and started manufacturing machines for the domestic and international markets. While recording a rapid growth in the crane industry, Escorts was the first to bring the concept of Vibratory Soil Compactors in India in 1985 with technology transferred from Dynapac, Sweden. In 2001, we started manufacturing tandem rollers with technology from HAMM, Germany. Today, our range of compaction equipment is one of the most preferred in the market and is being viewed as the most efficient and effective compaction solutions available.

In 1979, ECE formed a joint venture with JCB, UK, for joint manufacturing of Backhoe Loaders – a first for India. After parting with the company in 2002, we started indigenously manufacturing Backhoe Loaders in the year 2009.

Having developed an exhaustive product portfolio, ECE is now taking the concept of material handling cranes to the next level of technology. With the introduction of extra safe ‘TRX Series’ cranes, we are redefining the benchmarks of safety and usability in this segment. Escorts F15 remains the most preferred TRX Series crane at various project sites world-over. Post comprehensive due diligence, Escorts has come out with a superior solution in the form of TRX Series crane model, Escorts F20.

Today, ECE is not only catering to the Indian market, but is also exporting our products to over 50 countries across the globe.
